Dispersed phase fluids are always mixed in the process flow and are difficult to remove, posing potential safety hazards for enterprises in various aspects from production to operation. Coalescence technology is a method for removing dispersed phase fluids from liquid fluids. In recent years, the separation technology of heterogeneous liquid/liquid fluids has received special attention in the petroleum and chemical industries, and is an indispensable key unit for process assurance, equipment protection, fluid purification, product liquid recovery, and refining.
The coalescer is a multi-stage system; it first removes particulate matter, then coalesces and separates the dispersed phase liquid from the continuous phase liquid.
